Before sending your first email campaign, you need to add a verified sender. This only takes a few seconds and allows UltyMailer to send emails using your preferred email address.
Step 1 — Open the Senders Page
After logging into your UltyMailer dashboard, look at the left navigation menu. Click on Senders. This is where you manage all email addresses that can be used to send campaigns.
Every campaign must be sent from a sender you've added to your account. If you haven't added one yet, you'll see an empty sender list.
💡 Tip: Create separate senders for different purposes, such as Support, Sales, Marketing, or Newsletters.
Step 2 — Create a New Sender
On the Senders page you'll find a simple form for creating a sender.
- Name – The display name recipients will see.
- Email – The email address used as the sender.
Example:
Name: Support Email: support@yourdomain.com
Once you've entered the information, click Add Sender.
✔ We recommend using a professional domain email instead of free email providers whenever possible.
Step 3 — Start Sending Campaigns
Once your sender has been added successfully, it becomes available inside the Campaign composer.
- Open Campaigns.
- Select your new sender from the dropdown.
- Add your recipients.
- Write your subject and email content.
- Preview your email.
- Click Send Campaign.
Best Practices
- Use a real business email address.
- Keep the sender name recognizable (Support, Billing, Marketing).
- Avoid changing sender addresses frequently.
- Always test campaigns by sending one to yourself first.
- Personalize your emails whenever possible.
- Clean inactive recipients regularly to improve deliverability.
Improve Email Deliverability
Although you can start quickly, configuring your domain authentication is highly recommended.
- SPF helps receiving servers verify your sender.
- DKIM digitally signs your emails.
- DMARC tells providers how to handle unauthenticated mail.
Proper authentication significantly improves inbox placement and reduces the chances of emails being marked as spam.
Troubleshooting
My sender doesn't appear in Campaigns
Refresh the page after adding the sender. If it still doesn't appear, ensure it was added successfully from the Senders page.
Should I use Gmail or Outlook?
You can, but using an email address from your own domain (for example support@yourcompany.com) provides a more professional appearance and generally results in better deliverability.
Can I create multiple senders?
Yes. You can create multiple sender identities for different departments, products, or brands and choose the appropriate one for each campaign.
Your sender is now configured. Open the Campaigns page, choose your sender from the dropdown, compose your email, preview it live, and send your first campaign with UltyMailer.
